Freeway Management for Toledo Regional ITS Architecture Roles and Responsibilities

	Detect and verify traffic incidents on freeways in Monroe County.
	Share traffic information with other regional traffic management agencies.
ODOT	Share traffic information with other regional traffic management agencies.
	Monitor and manage traffic on state–owned roadways.
	Operate ITS field infrastructure on state–owned roadways.
	Detect and verify traffic incidents on Interstates, US and State Highways.
	Operate ODOT's Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) software.
	Operate ramp meters on state–owned freeways.
	Operate wrong way vehicle detection systems on state–owned roadways.
	Disseminate traffic information via DMS to the traveling public on state–owned roadways.
Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission (OTIC)	Monitor and manage traffic on the Ohio Turnpike.
