MDOT I-75 Fiber Optic Expansion
Description
MDOT will upgrade its traveler information system for I–75 in Monroe County by adding fiber communication to all of MDOT devices within the next 5 years. Currently, most of the devices have localized communication only such as cell or cable communications.
