TARTA Vehicle Health Monitoring System
Description
This project will install a system allowing TARTA to remotely monitor the health conditions of buses. On–board condition sensors will be installed to monitor system status and transmit critical status information to TARTA's transit operations center and/or garages/maintenance facilities. The system will collect and process data such as vehicle mileage, engine temperature, oil pressure, brake wear, internal lighting, etc. and transmit vehicle maintenance data to garages to be used for remote diagnosis and scheduling future vehicle maintenance.
