EV Barrier System Control Functional Area

Description

'EV Barrier System Control' provides local control of automatic or remotely controlled gates and other barrier systems from an emergency vehicle. Using this capability, emergency personnel can open and close barriers without leaving the vehicle, using V2I Communications to control the barriers.

01The emergency vehicle shall remotely control barrier systems. Barrier systems include automated or remotely controlled gates, barriers and other systems that manage entry to roadways.
02The emergency vehicle shall collect barrier system operational status.
03The emergency vehicle shall collect barrier system fault data.
